Tony Norris Memorial Hike
In memory of Tony Norris & raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
My name is Nicole Norris. My Husband Tony Norris was diagnosed with cancer namely Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma three years ago and sadly lost his battle with the disease on 22nd February 2011.
Tony never gave up throughout his illness, he continued to fight whilst maintaining that there was always somebody worse off than yourself. Tony took any treatment that was offered such as : Chemotherapy, Stem Cell Transplantation, Radiotherapy and Trial Drugs. Throughout all of this you never once heard Tony complain, he simply continued to live life to the full.
In Tony’s memory my brothers, sisters and I will be hiking up the highest mountain in the UK (4,409 ft) – Ben Nevis in Scotland on 29th May 2011 in order to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support – a charity close to my husbands heart.
The reason for this enormous challenge? … To prove that no matter what, you should never give up, continue to fight and that you can achieve whatever you want to achieve.
Please be kind enough to sponsor the Tony Norris Memorial Hike up Ben Nevis to raise money that will help and support cancer sufferers and their loved ones.
Remember there is always something or someone worth fighting for!
