LIGHTMOOR VILLAGE YOUTH CLUB RULES

The Youth Club has been set up by and is run by volunteers who all give up their free time to make the Youth Club happen. The Youth Club receives generous support and training from partners including Telford & Wrekin Council and Bournville Village Trust (who allow us to use the Oak Tree Centre free of charge). We therefore ask that you treat all of our volunteers and our partners with respect at all times.

Anyone behaving in an inappropriate or aggressive way and / or using inappropriate language to our volunteers, our partners or our members will be asked to leave the Youth Club and risks permanent exclusion. We reserve the right to refuse admission.

The Youth Club is a supervised but NOT a policed environment. Any young person wishing to leave the Youth Club will be free to do so. Young people will not however be free to come and go as they please – once they have left the Youth Club they will not be allowed back in during that session. This is essential in order that we can keep a track of the young people in our care.

All young people will be required to register at the beginning of the session and pay the £1.00 subs for that session. The money will be used to purchase sweets for the tuck shop and equipment for the group. The Youth Club does not seek to make a profit.

All parents must complete the Parent Consent Form and Registration Form. Failure to complete these forms may result in young people being refused entry to the Youth Club. These forms are important to provide us with contact details in case of emergency.

The age range of the Youth Club is 8 – 16. Young people falling outside this age range will not be permitted access to the Youth Club sessions. We apologies for any disappointment this may cause.

Should anyone wish to volunteer to set up a group for younger or older age ranges then please feel free to contact the Youth Club committee on: lightmooryouthgroup@gmail.com and we will be happy to advise you as to how you can go about setting up a group.

We are always looking to welcome new volunteers to help run the sessions with the young people. Please contact us if you’d like to know more about this. You can email is on the address above.
